Per the Roommate search info, creating a roommate group is an important first step. However, it doesn't quite guarantee that, when the time comes to assign yourself and your roommates into a room, that there will be a room available with enough empty beds for your roommate group. Especially if you are in an LLC with potentially limited options - there might just not be any rooms available.

Now, I'm not sure if this is a problem for freshmen housing (maybe roommate groups pick first / there are enough available rooms), but this is a problem for 2nd + year housing, especially when larger roommate groups try to get entire apartments. --Alexp (talk) 18:23, 10 July 2021 (EDT)
