Make sure major pages aren't copy paste from other Georgia Tech websites

Eh, I think copy-pasting stuff is ok, as long as it's cited. I copy-pasted a blurb in PHYS 2211 and still need to cite it. Let's enforce this rule more once we have more examples of citing stuff --Alexp (talk) 22:28, 19 May 2021 (EDT)

The core major requirements are common for all engineering majors, correct? If so, we should probable put the core requirements on a dedicated page, and then use https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Transclusion to insert them. That way, we might be able to reference one copy for all engineering pages. --Alexp (talk) 19:06, 20 May 2021 (EDT)

Actually, looking at this further there are some subtle differences between engineering majors. For example, it seems that EE requires MATH 1554 while many other engineering majors do not. So if we wanted to make one page for all engineering majors, we might need to note exceptions which would suck --Alexp (talk) 19:14, 20 May 2021 (EDT)
Also also, the website with requirements might not be complete. For example, APPH 1060 seems to be an option for wellness (at least for ME, but probably for all majors). Of course, it doesn't really matter since it's restricted to Honors Program LLC students, but there it is. We may want to eventually link to a page Wellness Requirement where we can note these changes by the institute and weird edge cases. (there's a similar problem for CS degree plans changing the ethics course numbers). I'm just mentioning all this here because this is one of the first major pages --Alexp (talk) 19:23, 20 May 2021 (EDT)

The info about these clubs and student organizations is great, but some of these clubs aren't exclusive to EE... maybe frame it as "a lot of EE majors are in these clubs:" or something --Alexp (talk) 15:15, 21 May 2021 (EDT)
