CS 2200 builds on the computer architecture and operating systems (OS) concepts introduced in CS 2110. It teaches students about key architecture concepts such as performance metrics, branch prediction, caching, virtual memory, interrupts, pipelining. On the OS front, students also learn about process scheduling and parallelism.
