Editing Systems and Architecture

The '''Systems and Architecture''' thread is one of the eight threads available to undergraduate Computer Science majors and minors. It is also one of the three CS threads for Computer Engineering majors.

The Systems and Architecture thread s akin to, but not entirely similar to, [[Computer Engineering]] in that sense, as it explores the pragmatic low-level principles of computing, such as operating systems, processors, compilers, and computer networks. Along with the [[Theory]] thread, it can be considered as Computer Science in its purest form. Thread topics include courses in computer organization and systems, digital design, operating system and processor design, advanced computer organization and system concepts, as well as a course on algorithm design to round out the thread.
