Overview

Modern Physics is "a survey of twentieth century physics. Developments of several branches of physics up to their present frontiers, including historical and philosophical perspectives."

The course covers waves (including Fourier Transformations and diffractions), Special Relativity, waves as particles and waves mechanics including the Michelson Interferometer and Schrödinger's equation, quantum mechanics, potential wells, Bohr atoms, and other things to update cause I'm taking the course.

The class is normally only taken by Physics majors, however, when the writer of this article took it, it was mostly engineers who wanted to learn more about the background of the things they learn.
