ID 2320 is a 3 credit hour course in human factors and design. It provides and introduction to the topics of human factors, ergonomics, and anthropometry. Students learn to apply ergonomic guidelines to design of products, physical controls, and computer interfaces.

Class Structure[edit | edit source]

As of Fall 2022, the class is completely online synchronous, with weekly lectures and in-class discussions. There are individual assignments, readings, quizzes, and final class project/exam.

Prerequisite Knowledge[edit | edit source]

No prerequisite knowledge is needed. ID majors need ID 1012 in order to take this class while ID minors can request a prerequisite override.
